Picasso Sketchbook Stolen

A sketchbook containing pencil drawings of Pablo Picasso has been stolen from the Picasso National Museum in Paris, France. The book, believed to be worth approximately US$11 million, contains 33 sketches that were drawn between 1917 and 1924 when the artist was in his late 30s and early 40s. The sketchbook was housed in a locked glass case. However, police say the museum’s surveillance system was not active when it was stolen sometime between Monday and Tuesday. Pražská galerie a občasný klub ve vysočanské Trafačce pořádá nejen vzhledem ke 4. narozeninám Graffnecku v sobotu 20. června 2009 graffiti jam a koncertní večírek.

Program v industriální hale zahájí ve 13:00 exhibice předních českých writerů na venkovní fasádě Trafačky za doprovodu Djs a následovat bude v přilehlé galerii od 19:00 vernisáž výstavy s názvem Writerz za hranicemi graffiti, kde se bude prezentovat desítka streetartistů v čele s Pointem, Biorem, Pastou, Wladimírem 518, Tronem, Eposem, X-Dogem, Kewem, Todeym a dalšími.

Večerní koncert bude od 20:00 hod. ve jménu Wladimíra 518, Huga Toxxxe a LA4, obohacený o laser graffiti sketch show, následovat bude djs show, kde zahrají Double J, Noir, Rower, Layup a Pasta.

Po dobu celého večera poběží v chillout koutku v suterénu projekce širokého výběru z historie českých graffiti videí a slideshow fotek.
Na místě Vas obslouží Boiler bar včetne jídla, k dispozici bude i Graffneck shop.

ROYCE 5’9 AND HIS FORTHCOMING SOLO-LP STREET HOP

Royce 5’9 ‘s unwavering passion for music and hunger for the game keeps him in the studio day and night. On the heels of both releases, Royce will first be releasing a Digital only EP entitled “The Revival.” “The Revival” will be released on 7-7-09 and it will include new tracks from Royce’s “Street Hop” LP along with a new unreleased Slaughterhouse track and will be available at all major digital retailers. Royce will also be debuting a new single and video for “The Revival” in the very immediate future. Likewise, each member of Slaughterhouse will also be releasing a new digital EP throughout the month of July and each release will contain a new Slaughterhouse track that will not be included on their debut.

With so much good music ready to be unleashed on the masses Royce asserts “ I'm looking forward to releasing new music and touring this summer. Street Hop has been in the works for almost 2 years and the release date will be here before you know it. The Revival will give people a chance to see what I've been up to and what to expect from the album. The month of July will belong to Slaughterhouse with the release of our full length group album and solo EP's from me followed by Joell, Joey and Crooked. We will show fans why we are the ones to watch.”
